Magic Items Wish List

  • Magical fullblade – prefer sticking with a Fullblade that I could unlock new abilities/powers (through quests) versus “trading up” new weapons. I really like the example of the holy avenger given in the books. For example, questing to find a blade that can be used to detect and slay rakshasas? Abilities I find interesting: Flameburst (but realize this could combo with Temple of Light), Flaming, Lifedrinker, Terror, Vicious.
  • Magical armor (leather) – Battleforged, Bloodcut and Bloodthread Armor look interesting.
  • Neck items – Open to anything that adds more defenses
  • Anything that adds speed, shifts or gets me to where I want to be faster (and teleporting would be cool too :)
  • Anything related to devas and astral/“out worldly” type of stuff – could just be interesting and not “crunchy” (e.g., an orb that lets me learn of my past lives)

Sarod coughed violently, choking on bitter ash and salty blood. His blood.

His attempt to contain his intestines inside his gut were quickly becoming futile as his life force continued to seep out. He grimaced and surveyed the carnage that was consuming Khorvaire. Empires were in flames and the land itself was sputtering its death throes. It was only a matter of time.

He laid back and looked into the night sky. The burnt out husk of Hadar hung mournfully in the crimson clouds.

I failed.

I failed to stop the end of days. First, for my true homeland. Now, for my adopted one.

Anger and bitterness swept over the deva. Worse yet, he thought, the rakshasa had won. Again.

With grim resolve, Sarod knew what had to be done. Though devas are immortal, he sensed that time was running out in this game with the Dark Ones. They had destroyed Hadar, and now, they have found a new plaything. When will it end?

Sarod bit his lip, hard. Blood trickled down his chin. He said a short but powerful prayer. A blood oath, given as a pathway for devas to find their way through the Deep Sleep.

But this time, it is not for enlightenment. This time, it is not an appeal to be born as a guide for kings and empires. This time…it is for vengeance!
